August A Box, Indied Review and Swatches

Greetings and Nailutations,

A new month with exclusive polishes for Llarowe's A Box, Indied.  As previously mentioned, Llarowe in an online indie stockist which has a monthly subscription box.  This month's was super special because an indie made their first appearance as a polish (not a cuticle care item).  This box's theme was Go Greek - Pi Beta Polish and the names had me thinking of a classic movie....we'll see if you can guess the movie!

Now let's get to some swatches.

First up is Toga! Toga! Toga! from Colors by Llarowe.  CbL never disappoints and this deep purple holographic polish is absolutely stunning!  Formula was smooth and easy to apply.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Next is Food Fight! from Girly Bits Cosmetics.  Food Fight! is a light grey glitter jelly.  It contains iredescent turquoise, purple, rose gold and rainbow holo dust.  I can't wait to bring this beauty out during the winter as a backdrop to a snow scene.  Girly Bits Cosmetic polishes have wonderful formula and made application a breeze.  Photo shows 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Different Dimension's 7 Years Of College Down The Drain is next.  7 Years Of College Down The Drain is a bright pink polish with gold flakes and shimmer.  This beautiful polish was easy to apply and photos show 3 thin coats with shiny top coat and gold heart stud.

Another holographic polish is added to the box with Glisten and Glow's You've Been HAZED!  This is my first Glisten and Glow polish, I have tried their top coat and base coat and other cuticle treatments.  I am so pleased with their polish (great formula, beautiful color) - definitely expect to see more!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Lastly in this box, is That Boy Is A P-I-G Pig from Crows Toes.  This polish is a very sheer light pink with iridescent shimmer to it.  It was difficult to think of how to utilize this polish, so I decided to place it over a french mani.  Photo show 2 coats over naked/white nails with shiny topcoat and bow charms.

Loves: My favorites of the box are Toga! Toga! Toga! and 7 Years Of College Down The Drain.  I can't resist a purple and I loved the gold infused in the bright pink polish.  All polishes had great formula and I was really pleased with this month's subscription box.

Wishes:  I wish Glisten and Glow started making polishes earlier!!  SMILE :)  I can't wait to purchase more.

Which is your favorite?

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka @BeginNails
