Candy Drop Duo Trims The Tree

Greetings and Nailutations!

Today I have a Candy Drop Duo from Drip Drop Nail Paint (DDNP) and Candied Apple Polish (CAP)!  This was one of the December duos and the theme was the Candy Drops trim the tree.  This duo also came with some Christmas nail vinyls/stencils from Vinyl Quickies and soap from Glitter and Gratitude.

Now let's get to some swatches!
First up is the Candied Apple Polish called Tangled Tinsel Explosions.  Tangled Tinsel Explosions is an off-white glitter crelly that contains an array of colors of small and micro hexes.  I like that this Christmas polish isn't "in your face" Christmas, so it can be worn throughout the year.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Next is Drip Drop Nail Paint's contribution called Fa La La La La.  Drip Drop's polish is a pink glitter crelly with green and light green hexes in 2 sizes.  I love a pink Christmas polish!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

I also did some nail art using these polishes.  Tangled Tinsel Explosions from Candied Apple Polish is my base for the next mani.  Then I used a Mitty Brush to paint on green trees and Lots of Dots tool for the gold ornaments.  I also used Nails Redesigned blue star decal and it's all topped with a shiny top coat.

The second nail art look I did was using Fa La La La La from Drip Drop Nail Paint as the base and stamping green matching snowflakes onto it.  I used MoYou London Festive 02 Plate, MPolish Get Lost and What's Up Nails Creative Shop Stamper all topped with a shiny top coat.

Unfortunately, the stencils needed to be cut manually to be used and I didn't have any scissors on hand, so they were not used in this mani session.

The duo also came with an adorable gingerbread man soap that smells like cinnamon and cookies!!

Loves:  LOVE these 2 polishes for the Christmas season!  They aren't over the top Christmas so that they can be worn throughout the year and of course the formulas on Candied Apple Polishes and Drip Drop Nail Paints are amazing.  They both applied smoothly and evenly.

Wishes:  I wish the vinyls from Vinyl Quickies didn't need scissors, os that I could have used them.

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka @BeginNails
