Daily Hues Nail Lacquer 2015 Create Christmas Collection Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Sample*
Today I am sharing 6 polishes that are part of Daily Hues Nail Lacquers' Create Christmas Collection, where Jenn (the owner) worked along side 6 polish lovers who won a contest to create a cohesive and festive collection.  The collection includes 3 glitter toppers and 3 glitter crellies.  They are available December 2nd.  All DNHL polish are 5-free, so they don't contain 5 of the harsh chemicals that can be found in some polish.

Now let's get to some swatches!

First up is Eggnog Tipsy Santa, created by Jessica, which is a white glitter crelly.  Eggnog Tipsy Santa contains green circles and tiny squares, red squares and hexes in 2 sizes as well as small silver holographic stars.  The stars and larger green circles did require some glitter fishing and placement.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th photos) and matte top coat (6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th photos).

Next is a glitter topper called Christmas Magic, which was created by Allison.  Christmas Magic contains red green and gold medium and large hexes as well as red and gold small hexes and gold holographic stars.  This is a classy glitter topper and I love the look of one coat over a neutral, Tiramisu For Two from O.P.I. topped with a shiny top coat.  Slight glitter placement of the stars.

Ice Ice Baby, is a light blue crelly with silver holographic micro glitter and small hexes  that gives it a nice shimmer look from a distance.  Ice Ice Baby was created by Tammy.  This is one of my favorites of the collection.  Such a pretty and clean crisp blue.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Next is a glitter topper called Heather's Gift, created by Heather.  Heather's Gift contains green circles, hexes and triangles, red hexes and stars as well as holographic rainbow dust.  Initially I did 3 coats on it's own and it created a festive holiday look (1st, 2nd and 3rd photos).  Then I decided to try it over black to really get that holo to pop!  Photos show 1 coat with glitter placement of the larger glitters over Lace Thong from DHNL topped with a shiny top coat.

Another favorite is a white crelly called Frozen Cheer, created by Mimi.  Frozen Cheer contains red and gold hexes and squares in a few sizes.  I loved the classic look of red and gold together.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th photos) and matte top coat (6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th photos).

The last polish is a glitter topper that screams snow!  Created by Ana, The First Snowfall is a silver holographic glitter topper containing circles, hexes, squares and snowflake glitter.  This polish did require glitter fishing to get those stubborn snowflakes out.  Photos show 2 coats with glitter placement over Sugar Plum from K2 Nail Paint topped with a shiny top coat.

Shiny Top Coat: Rapide from K2 Nail Paint
Matte Top Coat: Polish Matte'rs from www.girlybitscosmetics.com

Loves: What a fun way to create a collection and get your fans and customers involved.  I really love Ice Ice Baby and Frozen Cheer.  They are such fun unique holiday polishes.  I also love the formulas of DHNL polish, they apply smoothly.  And as an added plus all her polish is 5-free.

Wishes:  The holographic silver stars in Eggnog Tipsy Santa were difficult to see on the nail, so my only wish would be to change the color of the stars to red or green.
